Deriving their name from ‘blonde’ and ‘brune’, French brand Blune was envisioned by friends Eve (the blond) and Laurence (the brunette), who met at Penninghen graphic design school in Paris. In 2011 following Eve’s training with the Chanel Studio and Laurence’s experience with advertising agency Young & Rubicam, the duo joined forces with Julie (another brunette), from the Chantelle Group, and Blune was created. Expressing their artistic sensitivities through collections, each is a combination of their personalities and ideas. The brand’s embroidered T-shirts are a wardrobe staple.
